Severe Weather Procedures
Lightning Storms & Severe Thunderstorms
- Eastside Centre is equipped with a precision electrical instrument called Thor Guard. It is designed to provide reliable lightning prediction, however if you ever see or hear lightning please evacuate the playing surface.
- When Thor Guard predicts lightning its horn will activate for 15 seconds.
- At this time ALL Coaches, Players and Spectators must exit the facility and proceed to their vehicles. All players surfaces, spectator areas, and sidewalks must be cleared until the all clear has sounded.
- When the threat has cleared Thor will activate 3 separate horn blasts.
Tornado Warnings
- In the event of a Tornado Warning, participants should seek shelter in the EastSide Centre Gymnasium located in the North East corner of the complex.
