Severe Weather Procedures
Lightning Storms & Severe Thunderstorms
- EastSide Centre is equipped with a precision electrical instrument called Thor Guard. It is designed to provide reliable lightning prediction; however if you ever see or hear lightning please evacuate the playing surface.
- When Thor Guard predicts lightning its horn will activate for 15 seconds.
- At this time ALL Coaches, Players and Spectators must exit the facility and proceed to their vehicles. All playing surfaces, spectator areas, and sidewalks must be cleared until the all-clear has sounded.
- When the threat has cleared Thor will activate 3 separate horn blasts.
Tornado Warnings
- In the event of a Tornado Warning, participants should seek shelter in the EastSide Centre Gymnasium located in the North East corner of the complex.
